One of India’s largest Automation/Robotics firms is embarking on a new program, hiring a group of ten budding technologists to engage in a paid, six-month training program. You MUST be a US Citizen of hold PERMANENT US Resident status in order to be considered. Your training will take place in Pune, India - first in the classroom, then in actual industrial conditions. Your travel and living arrangements will be paid for, and you will receive a modest stipend during your training. Following your training, you will receive a two-year contract of employment (*), based out of their Rochester Hills Michigan facility, providing support to (primarily) a domestic client base. Your first year earnings will most likely NOT exceed $40,000. (* Employment is at-will - Failure to meet expectations can result in early termination) The client will be investing roughly $20,000 to train each Controls Engineer Apprentice. Leaving before your 2-year commitment is up will resulting in having to reimburse the firm for a prorated portion of their investment.
Candidates do NOT need to possess a bachelor's degree. If you are technically inclined, have received any form of vocational training, or an associates degree…..if you have worked in the trades (electrician, plumbing, construction) and would like to become a bona fide engineer, this is a fast-track opportunity to do so.
The client values strong interpersonal skills, decisiveness, creativity, integrity and emotional intelligence as much as they do technical aptitude. You will be dealing with clients, and stressful situations where industrial systems are down, and you will be viewed as the answer to their problems.
Please submit a resume, and a short letter indicating why you feel you would be a strong candidate for this program. Candidates that have been selected will be notified immediately. Direct all replies to:
